Basic Terms

Who Can Use This Service

Users must be at least 13 years old. Those aged 13–16 require legal guardian approval. The service prohibits convicted sex offenders and anyone barred by law from receiving services. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Accessing the Service

FishAngler reserves the right to withdraw or modify the service without notice. Account information must be accurate and current. Users cannot create multiple accounts or provide false information. The company may reclaim usernames or disable accounts at its discretion.

Changes to Terms of Service

Terms may be revised at any time. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms of Service means that you accept and agree to the changes. Users are responsible for checking for updates.

Content on the Service

Sharing Content

Users grant FishAngler a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any Content that contains intellectual property. This permission continues even after account termination.

Content Standards

Prohibited content includes material that is:

  • Defamatory, obscene, abusive, offensive, or harassing
  • Sexually explicit or promoting violence/discrimination
  • Infringing intellectual property rights
  • Deceptive or promoting illegal activity
  • Impersonating others or misrepresenting identity
  • Commercial in nature (contests, sweepstakes, advertising)

Advertisements

FishAngler may use user names, profile pictures, and content in connection with sponsored content without any compensation to you. The company does not share content with advertisers without consent.

Privacy

All information collection is governed by FishAngler's Privacy Policy. Users consent to all actions regarding their information consistent with that policy.

FishAngler Service Rules

Account Security

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Users remain responsible for account activity and must not share passwords or security keys. Unauthorized access must be reported immediately to FishAngler.

General Use

The service is for private and personal use to save, track, and share information from and for anglers. Users cannot modify the service, use it illegally, or reverse-engineer its code.

Prohibited Uses

Users cannot:

  • Violate any applicable laws
  • Exploit or harm minors
  • Send spam or junk mail
  • Impersonate others
  • Disable, overburden, or damage the service
  • Use automated access without permission
  • Introduce viruses or malicious code
  • Perform denial-of-service attacks

Linking and Social Media

Users may link to FishAngler's homepage fairly and legally without implying endorsement. FishAngler may disable social media features without notice.

Safety

Users must not:

  • Upload malicious code
  • Bully, intimidate, harass, or stalk others
  • Post threatening, violent, pornographic, or hateful content
  • Share others' private information (credit cards, SSN, etc.)
  • Interfere with service operations
  • Alter how content displays in browsers

Maps

Map information is not intended for navigation. Maps cannot be redistributed, sold, or used to create competing services. Users cannot mass download map content or use it for autonomous vehicle control. Your use of Maps on the Service is at your own risk.

Intellectual Property

Rights

FishAngler owns all service content, features, and functionality. Users may only use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Permitted uses include:

  • Temporary caching on devices
  • Printing reasonable amounts for personal use
  • Downloading single copies of provided applications
  • Using enabled social media features

Commercial use requires separate agreement with FishAngler.

Trademarks

"FishAngler" and related names, logos, and slogans are FishAngler trademarks. No license to use these outside the service is granted.

Copyright

Copyright violations should be reported per FishAngler's Copyright Policy. FishAngler terminates repeat infringers' accounts.

Data Charges and Mobile

FishAngler provides the service free, but users remain responsible for carrier fees, data charges, and internet service costs.

Termination

Monitoring and Enforcement

FishAngler may:

  • Remove or refuse contributions without reason
  • Take any action regarding violations
  • Disclose user identity to third parties claiming rights violations
  • Refer matters to law enforcement
  • Suspend or terminate accounts

The company does not review contributions before posting and assumes no liability for user-generated content.

Termination of Your Account

Users may discontinue service anytime. FishAngler may terminate inactive accounts after 12 months. The company may suspend accounts for violations, legal exposure, or inactivity at our sole discretion. Reasonable notice attempts will be made via registered email.

Disclaimers of Warranty

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, ITS CONTENT AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

FishAngler disclaims all warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for particular purpose. The company does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, error-free operation, or freedom from viruses.

Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. FishAngler disclaims liability for third-party content and materials. FishAngler has no control over linked sites and accepts no responsibility for third-party content or services.

Limitations of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES OR THEIR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. This includes direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of cause.

Users agree to defend and indemnify FishAngler, its affiliates, and service providers from claims arising from violation of terms, contributions, or service misuse.

Disputes

Governing Law

All matters are governed by Florida law without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction

Disputes must be brought exclusively in federal courts of the United States or Florida courts in Broward County. Users waive objections to jurisdiction and venue.

Arbitration

FishAngler may require disputes to be submitted to binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules applying Florida law.

Time Limit

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE OR THE SERVICE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES.

General Terms

FishAngler may update content without obligation to keep it complete or current. FishAngler is based in Florida and makes no claims about accessibility outside the United States. International access is at user risk.

Waiving any term doesn't waive future violations. Invalid provisions will be eliminated or limited to maintain enforceability of remaining terms.

The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Copyright Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement.
